The Honeywell CC-IP0101 is a Profibus DP Gateway Module designed to provide a communication interface between Honeywell's Experion systems (specifically C300 controllers) and devices utilizing the Profibus DP protocol. This module acts as a bridge, enabling seamless data exchange and interoperability between these different communication networks.

As a Profibus gateway, the CC-IP0101 always functions as a master on the Profibus DP network, capable of communicating with up to 127 Profibus DP slave devices. It is developed in the Series 8 form factor, consistent with other modules for the C300 controller, and utilizes an Input Output Termination Assembly (IOTA) for connections.

The CC-IP0101 can be optionally redundant, enhancing system availability, and supports up to two independent DP networks per module.
